First of all today is Maha Siva Ratri, it is Lord Siva's favorite day. Whatever we want, we can get it if we pray Siva. He is the merciful god in the world. (OM Namasivaya)
We (Chella Guys) planned to shift to a new home in Mumbai today, since our current home is very little and it can accommodate only 4 people but we 7 guys.
The plan is we will have to wake up early in the morning, early is not denotes the meaning which is present in the bachelors dictionary it is the real early morning i.e. 5 am in the morning, get ready and boil the milk in the new home that is what we call "Greha Pravesam". I have informed every one of my friends to make their minds to do Greha Pravesam.
As usual whenever I want to wake up early I ask my mobile to wake me up, so I set alarm at 5 am in the morning. Again as usual without failure my mobile woke me up at the correct time. I tried to get my friends back from their sleeping mode but they ignored and sleeping well. My ego came in front of me and asked me to do this Greha Pravesam alone.....!!!!
I took a bag and put the bowl which we uses to boil milk, milk 1/2 liter, Sugar, Salt & Water. You may think what the need of Salt & Water, there is a traditional thing that when we enter into a new house we will have to get Salt & Water inside first before everything, so I have done the same. 5.30 am in the morning I was walking alone in one of the Mumbai western area roads to go to the new home which is not very far from our current house.
I've got inside the new home and set the kitchen ready for boiling the milk. I have been facing lot of surprises during 5 to 6.30 am today (12-2-10) and one of the surprises are the Gas Stove which was already there in the kitchen was not helping me to boil the milk, I think it was also in a deep sleep mode. There are 4 burners in that stove and I have been trying to fire every one of the burners but no results. I just gave up and went to sit in the main hall, while I am thinking what will be the cause of this stove problem I got that the valve which cuts or allows the gas to flow in to the stove was closed, this is the simple thing to solve it but at 6:07 the person who is in half sleep how to know this. At last I switched on the gas stove and boiled the milk. Thiruvasagam song was playing in the background.
Since no one was with me while I was doing this, I had to drink all the 1/2 liter milk because I didn't want to waste the milk. I drunk. "Greha Pravesam" function over. I locked the door and came outside of the apartment. I saw crowd in Gokul Dham temple which is very near to the new house. I went inside the temple and got to know that today they are celebrating Maha Siva ratri festival. There was a long queue of people standing there to see Lord Siva, obviously I was one in the big queue. I got inside to Lord siva's home and got a chance to poured milk which I got in the temple on him but didn't ask any thing.
